After months of planning and preparation we are drawing closer to the day when we can open our doors to the public. All is on track for Wednesday 1st June.
All is looking good and we are very excited about our cheese room. It will be temperature controlled to provide the best enviroment to mature and ripen cheese to it’s best. Our first delivery of cheese will arrive from France and Italy at the end on June. We will keep you posted closer to the date as to what will be landing in our store. I’m sure we will be doing a tasting or two…..
Our cooking school schedule is due to be released in July and we are busy working to create a variety of classes to tempt you.

We at Bottega Rotolo Tasmania are pleased to announce our first “Meet the Producer” event.
Our first guest will be Alessandro Bonino from Tartufi Morra
Giacamo Morra established Tartufi Morra in Alba in 1930, in the marvellous, prestigious and mysterious hills of the Langhe. The Times Newspaper of London in 1933 reported that the most exquisite and aromatic truffles in the world were to be found in this area. This is still the case today. Tartufi Morra focus on guaranteeing freshness and quality in products and with years of experience behind them, this is achieved with the mushrooms and truffles that grow in the Langhe.
Join us along with Alessandro at The Source @ MONA. Chef Philippe Leban has designed a menu will showcase a selection of truffle and mushroom products from Tartufi Morra.
This is a great opportunity to speak directly with the producer and sample some of their exquisite range.
